Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is a prominent Japanese engineering and manufacturing firm with a diverse portfolio that spans various sectors, including aerospace, defence, and energy. Established in 1884, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has played a significant role in Japan's industrial landscape, continuously innovating and advancing technology.
In the realm of military aviation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has made notable contributions, particularly with the F-2 and F-15J fighter aircraft. The F-2, developed in collaboration with Lockheed Martin, is a multi-role fighter designed for superior air superiority and ground attack capabilities. Incorporating advanced avionics and weapon systems, the F-2 is crucial to Japan's air defence strategy.
The F-15J, a variant of the American F-15 Eagle, was adapted for Japan's specific needs. Renowned for its agility and effectiveness in aerial combat, the F-15J serves as a cornerstone of the Japan Air Self-Defence Force's fleet, providing robust capabilities in both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. Both aircraft exemplify Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' commitment to producing high-quality, reliable defence solutions that enhance national security.
F-2
The F-2 fighter, developed jointly by Japan and the United States, is a sophisticated multirole aircraft that combines advanced technology with enhanced capabilities. Designed primarily for air superiority and ground attack missions, the F-2 is characterised by its agility and adaptability in various combat roles. Equipped with cutting-edge avionics and a powerful engine, it offers superior performance in both aerial engagements and precision strikes against ground targets. Its distinctive design, which includes canards and a larger wing area compared to its predecessor, the F-16, contributes to improved manoeuvrability and stability, making it an essential asset for the Japan Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF). With its emphasis on interoperability and modern warfare techniques, the F-2 continues to play a vital role in Japan's defence strategy.

F-15J
The F-15J is a variant of the renowned McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, specifically designed for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. This tactical fighter jet, introduced in the late 1970s, boasts advanced capabilities in air superiority, with a remarkable emphasis on agility, speed, and combat effectiveness. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney F100 engines, the F-15J can reach speeds exceeding Mach 2.5, while its sophisticated avionics and weapon systems enable it to engage multiple aerial threats simultaneously. As a testament to its design, the F-15J continues to serve as a cornerstone of Japan’s defence strategy, symbolising cutting-edge aeronautics and military prowess.
